Team Canada Place 4th in F5D World's

An excellent result for team Canada at the F5D World Championships in Pitesti, Romania in August 2006. Two of the team Roy Andrassy and Peter Thannhauser and the team manager Delbert Godon are CMPRA members. Third pilot member of the team was Terence Palaschuk from Saskatchewan. CMPRA

The CMPRA exists to promote the racing of radio controlled model aircraft of all types. Six racing classes are currently supported by the association, four powered by internal combustion motors and two powered by electric motors.

We cater for all skill levels in our racing from beginners in events such as Speed 400 electric racing right through to experts who race internationally and in world championship events. The CMPRA also welcomes sport pilots who are not interested in racing. To obtain membership details of the CMPRA, please call Jack Ellefson on (403) 239-5705.

On this web site you should find enough information to start you out in model aircraft pylon racing. If you're a beginner at racing or you already have some race experience, we would be delighted to welcome you into our association.
